Define the intended use

A comparison begins with terrain, load, exposure, fit and the person using the equipment. We do not give a universal best-product label without a defined use case and supporting evidence.

Use the right source

Product manuals support model-specific instructions. Manufacturer pages support attributed specifications, not independent performance conclusions. Regulators provide safety notices for identified models. Standards overviews explain scope; they do not prove that we have certified any product.

Track the claim and its limits

Articles distinguish documented specifications, editorial reasoning, illustrative calculations and observations. No launch article includes original physical test results. We do not turn a vendor claim into our own measurement or an unverified user review into a fact.

Check current information

Sources are dated when checked. Model generations, accessories, market versions and recalls can change. Readers should verify the exact model before buying or using it. Our test protocol explains what would be required for a hands-on review.

Original supporting work

Our diagrams illustrate selection decisions. The comparison worksheet preserves source and evidence status beside a claim. The energy worksheet accompanies a clearly fictional worked calculation in the power-station guide.
